The entire T20I series will be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, which last hosted India in a T20I back in 2012. The second and third T20Is will be played on July 28th and July 30th, respectively.
The turnaround between the T20Is and ODIs is short, with the 50-over leg of the tour set to commence on August 2nd. The ODI leg of the tour will be played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
The ODIs, though, unlike the T20Is, are well spaced out, with the second and the third games being played on August 4th and August 7th respectively.
The tour will be Gautam Gambhir’s first assignment as the head coach of the Men’s side.
Meanwhile, with the series just over a fortnight away, Sri Lanka are without a T20I skipper, with Wanindu Hasaranga having relinquished captaincy.
