India's White-Ball Tour of Bangladesh Rescheduled, Confirms BCCI

The series is now expected to take place in September next year

India's white-ball tour of Bangladesh, which was supposed to be held in August 2025, has been rescheduled. India were to play three One-Day Internationals (ODI) and three T20 Internationals (T20I), starting August 17. The tour is now expected to take place in September 2026, and the revised dates for the tour will be announced in due course.

"This decision has been reached following discussions between the two Boards, taking into account the international cricketing commitments and scheduling convenience of both teams," the BCCI said in a statement. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), is however, yet to issue a statement.

Given the strained relations between the two countries, the tour has been put off for now. It remains unclear if the BCCI will also try and fit in another series during that window, which was to be a couple of weeks after their tour of England.

As things stand, India's next international assignment is the home series against West Indies, against whom they play a couple of Tests, starting October 2.
