IPL 2022 final to be played in Ahmedabad; Pune to host Women’s T20 Challenge

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced the schedule for the playoffs of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and have confirmed that the final of the 15th edition of the competition will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The IPL 2022 playoffs will kick-start in Kolkata on 24th May, with the Eden Gardens hosting both the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator (May 25), while Ahmedabad will be host to the Qualifier 2 (May 27) and the Final. The grand finale will be held on Sunday, May 29.
The BCCI have also confirmed the schedule for the 2022 Women’s T20 Challenge, which will be held entirely in Pune. The 2022 edition will feature a total of four matches, with the final being held on Saturday, May 28.
