Rahul Tripathi's Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has not gone according to plan so far. He had scores of 2, 5 and 23 in the three innings before this match and was hoping to turn things around against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). However, he played yet another scratchy innings, managing just 16 off 22 before being cleaned up by Sunil Narine.
His knock is the slowest knock in IPL 2025 (at least 20 balls faced), leaving Virat Kohli and Nitish Kumar Reddy behind. Tripathi, who was bought for INR 3.4 crore at the auction, scored at a strike rate of 72.73 and hit just one boundary during his stay.
