Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be looking to add to their fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title with a win in the 2025 edition, making them the team with the most IPL trophies in history. But up against them on their opening day will be arch-rivals Mumbai Indians, who have a similar goal, on March 23.
Both these teams haven’t won the trophy since 2023, and MI since 2020, which will make the 2025 edition more mouth-watering. Ironically, the two will clash against each other on March 23, the second day of the IPL, at CSK’s fortress MA Chidambaram Stadium.
