Gujarat Titans have a phenomenal record against Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. The two teams have played six games against each other, with GT winning five of them.
Rajasthan have won their last two games but GT have more in-form players and should get the W over Sanju Samson and Co.
Sai Sudharsan is as consistent as they come. The left-hander averages more than 47 in his 29-game IPL career and has been doing well this season as well. In four innings, he has scores of 5, 49, 63 and 74.
Mohammed Siraj has managed to turn things around in the 20-over format since moving to GT. The right-arm paceman went for 54 runs in his first game but has been superb since then. Siraj has claimed nine wickets in his last three games at an average of less than 8.
The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has so far hosted two games this season and the batters here have scored runs at an average of 34.6 and a scoring rate 10.4. The spinners have done slightly better than the seamers, but the margin isn’t too big. Both games have been won by the team batting first.
There’s no chance of rain in Ahmedabad on April 9 but it’s going to be extremely hot there, with the temperature likely to be around 33-39 degrees Celsius during match hours.
