IPL 2025: List Of Fastest 50s In Indian Premier League

After lists of Orange Cap and Purple Cap, here we are with another unique list, testing how well you know the Indian Premier League. 

We have the list of the fastest half-centurions, right from Yashasvi Jaiswal’s monstrous 13-ball effort to Chris Gayle’s 17-ball effort, which went on to notch up cricketing history.

Here are some of the fun facts:

- Only six Indians feature in the top 15 fastest 50s, and interestingly enough, there are no repeats, unlike in the overseas list. 

- Only ONE batter managed to convert fifty into a hundred, and that’s Chris Gayle, who smashed a world-beater 175 off 66 balls, carrying on from his 17-ball half-century. 

- Five out of the top 15 quickest IPL half-centuries have come in 2024 alone, a true batting paradise of a season

- Nine out of the 15 fastest half-centurions in IPL history are LEFT-HANDERS!!!
