Mumbai Indians (MI) seemed to have turned things around in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 after winning their last four games on the trot. They are currently fourth on the table with 10 points in nine games, and would like to strengthen their place in the top four with a win against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Wankhede.
Meanwhile, the LSG have been inconsistent in the season, and that is reflected in their points table. They have the same points as MI but are in sixth spot due to poor NRR.

MI are on a hot streak, having won four matches in a row this season. Given that they are playing at home, they certainly start as favourites.
Nicholas Pooran has been in stellar form this season, scoring 377 runs so far in nine innings at an average of 47.13 and striking at 204.9.
Interestingly, Hardik Pandya has been bowling quite well this season, and has the best numbers amongst both sides, with 12 wickets at an average of 18.9 and an economy of 9.1 this season in eight innings.
The pacers have done incredibly well at the Wankhede Stadium in the IPL this season, having picked up nearly 76% of the wickets. But their economy rate (9.5) is a tad higher than the spinners (8.5). The average first innings score this season has been 166.
The humidity is expected to be about 65-70%, while the temperature will be about 27-33 degrees during the match. There is absolutely no chance of rain throughout the match.
