Only A Question Of Time: CSK's CEO Confident Of Turnaround

It has been a season to forget for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who have won just two of their eight matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 so far. As a result, they lie at the foot of the IPL 2025 points table.
However, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan remains confident of a turnaround with MS Dhoni at the helm.
“We know that we are not playing good cricket as of now but, we hope that in the coming matches, we should be able to do better – with someone like Thala being at the helm, it’s only a question of time before we come back,” he said while addressing the fans at an event in Chennai on April 22 (Tuesday).
Dhoni took charge of the side after skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad was ruled out due to an elbow injury. The five-time champions will look to get their campaign back on track when they take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Chennai on April 25 (Friday).
