Sai Sudharsan has been in terrific form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, and is currently on top of the run-scorers list. Moreover, he has put up more than 600 runs for the first wicket with Shubman Gill in IPL 2025, over 200 more than the next pair, which has been key to their success this season.
In his last five innings before this match, Sai Sudharsan has slammed 39, 52, 36, 56 and 82. He has been dismissed in single digits just once.
He is all set to go past the 527 runs he scored last season. He has scored over 1,500 runs for GT, and also managed 478 runs for Tamil Nadu in the Syde Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Riding on Sudharsan's excellent show this season, GT are currently fourth on the IPL 2025 points table, with 12 points from nine matches. A win today will take them at least to the second place, if not higher.
