IPL Stars Headline India's U-19 Squad For England Tour

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre, now household names thanks to their brilliant showing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, were the highlight of the India U-19 squad for the tour of England, announced on May 22 (Thursday).
While 14-year-old Sooryavanshi scored 252 runs in seven innings at an average of 36 and a strike rate of more than 200 with a century to his name, Mhatre was brilliant with the bat in hand as well, smashing 206 runs in six innings with a high score of 94.
The England tour will consist of a warm-up match, five youth ODIs and two multi-day games, starting on June 24 and ending on July 23.
