It was a comedy of errors in the very first over of the Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) clash against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on April 12 (Saturday). It started with Prabhsimran Singh hitting a Mohammed Shami delivery straight, and Ishan Kishan, fielding at mid-on, ran after it and stopped the ball by diving.
However, after having fielded the ball, Ishan totally lost it and was seen looking for it everywhere. However, the ball was camouflaged by the white colour of the on-field advertising. Pat Cummings, fielding at mid-off, came and saw the ball and handed it over to him.
But the main issue came up when Priyansh Arya, the batter at the non-striker’s end, did not land his bat at the crease at the striker’s end after completing the second run, the last run after Ishan was unable to pick the ball.
