Follow UsKnown for his bowling skills and ability to bowl pinpoint yorkers, Jasprit Bumrah has also shown on a few occasions that he can bat. Here we look at three bowlers against whom he has hit a six in international cricket:
Pat Cummins
Australia captain Pat Cummins has the unfortunate honour of being the only bowler Bumrah has hit three sixes against. He hit a couple of them in the recent Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Perth and Brisbane.
The other six came in an ODI in Mohali in 2019 - off the only delivery he faced in the innings.
Stuart Broad
29 runs off the bat, 35 runs in an over. That's what Bumrah had achieved against Stuart Broad, one of England's finest, at Edgbaston in 2022.
He hit two sixes in that over - the most he has hit in an innings
Kagiso Rabada
2022 seemed to be a good year for Bumrah with the bat as he smashed five sixes that year. Two of them came against Broad, as previously mentioned, and earlier that year, he smashed Kagiso Rabada over the ropes twice in a single Test.
He hit one each in both innings of the Johannesburg Test.
Bonus fact: Bumrah has only one six in the IPL. And the bowler at the receiving end was Dan Christian in 2016 in Mumbai.
