Kedar Jadhav retires from all forms of cricket

Kedar Jadhav, on June 3 (Monday) announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. The 39-year-old last played for India in February 2020. 

"Thank you all For your love and support throughout my Career from 1500 hrs. Consider me as retired from all forms of cricket," Jadhav wrote in his tweet.

The right-hander middle-order batter, who was also a handy offspinner, played 73 ODIs and nine T20Is for India. He made his ODI debut in November 2014 and T20I debut in July 2015.

In the 50-over format, Jadhav scored 1389 runs across 52 innings at an average of 42.09 and a strike rate of 101.60, including two centuries and six fifties. He also scalped 27 wickets at an economy of just more than 5.

Overall, Jadhav featured in 87 First-Class, 186 List A games and 163 T20s. He featured in the last edition of the Ranji Trophy for Maharashtra, scoring 379 runs in eight innings at an average of 47.37.

He was part of four franchises in the Indian Premier League - Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

In IPL, Jadhav hit 1208 runs in 81 innings @ 22.37 and a strike rate of 123.14. Surprisingly, he never bowled a single delivery in the tournament.
