After serving three terms as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB)’s director, Khaled Mahmud is all set for a new venture. According to Cricbuzz’s reports, Mahmud has resigned from his post on September 11 (Wednesday).
Mahmud, who was BCB’s director for three straight terms, resigned due to political changes and instability in the country. Earlier in August, Nazmul Hassan, too, stepped down from his role as president.
The 53-year-old also served as Bangladesh’s interim coach on multiple occasions and was the team manager on a few other occasions. Many other key personnel, including Jalal Yunus, Shafiul Alam Chowdhury, and Naimur Rahman, have resigned from their positions at BCB.
