KKR's Kamlesh Jain favorite to be India's head physio: Report
Jain is most likely replace NCA's sports science and medicine department head Nitin Patel
Kolkata Knight Riders' Kamlesh Jain is most likely to be Indian men's team's new head physio, according to a report by Cricbuzz. Jain will replace team current physio Nitin Patel, who has been appointed head of Sports Science and Sports Medicine at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
The appointment is in all likelihood is set to be finalised before the end of IPL 2022 as Patel is set to take over the role immediately. India are set to host South Africa in five T20Is from June 9-19.
The franchise's head coach Brendon McCullum has been announced as England's head coach last week.
Jain has been KKR's assistant physio under Andrew Leipus for seven years before being appointed head physio of the team for three editions.
BCCI is yet to make an official announcement.
