National Cricket Academy (NCA) coaches Sitanshu Kotak, Sairaj Bahutule and Munish Bali will assist VVS Laxman for India's T20I series in Ireland. Laxman, who is NCA's director of cricket, will be the head coach for the two matches in Dublin on June 26 and 28.
Bahutule served as the bowling coach of the Indian Under-19 side that won the Junior World Cup in the Caribbean earlier this year while Bali was the fielding coach of that team. Kotak, a former Saurashtra batter, was part of the coaching staff for India A's tour of South Africa last year.
India head coach Rahul Dravid will oversee the preparations for the multi-format series against England starting on July 1 with the rescheduled Test match at Birmingham. Laxman was part of the Under-19 team's support staff and might stay with the senior side for their T20 warm-up games against Northamptonshire and Derbyshire in England.
According to a report by ESPNCricinfo, Indian players who are not part of the ongoing T20I series against South Africa, are likely to travel to England on June 15.
Following the Birmingham Test from July 1-5, India will face England in three T20Is and as many ODIs.
