The Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) on Thursday announced that there will be no restriction on the crowd capacity at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru for the second Test between India and Sri Lanka starting on Saturday.
The first Test at Mohali had a cap on spectators attendance at 50 per cent after India saw a decline in the number of Omnicron variant Covid-19 cases.
"The KSCA is happy to inform you that there has been very good response for viewership of India vs Sri Lanka Day Night Test cricket match being played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore from 12-16 March, 2022. Considering the high volume of response and since there are no further restrictions for spectators, KSCA will be opening up sale of tickets for full capacity of the stadium," an official release said.
India won the first Test at Mohali by an innings and 222 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
