Kuruvilla, Mohanty to travel with Indian team for Sri Lanka series

The Sri Lanka tour will begin on July 13 and will consist of 3 T20I matches and as many ODI games

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have taken a turn-over approach with national selectors Abey Kuruvilla and Debasish Mohanty set to join the national team for the Sri Lanka tour while other selectors, including chairman Chetan Sharma, set to join the team in England in August.  "They are already in Mumbai and are quarantining with other members of the touring party," the office-bearer told Cricbuzz on Thursday (June 24).

The BCCI have picked a 25-member squad for the Sri Lanka series and another group of 18 people, led by Rahul Dravid as Head Coach, will accompany them. Paras Mhambrey, the former bowling coach of the India A and India U-19 sides, will join them as the bowling coach. Former International Panel Umpire Sudheer Asnani is set to join as the manager of the side.
