LSG Make World-Class Signing Ahead Of IPL 2026
Lucknow Super Giants are also set to rope in Carl Crowe as spin consultant
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have appointed Bharat Arun as their bowling coach for the next two IPL seasons, according to a report by Cricbuzz.
Arun, who previously served as India's bowling coach, spent the last four seasons with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He played a key role in the rise of bowlers like Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora, helping KKR lift the IPL title in 2024 after a 10-year gap.
With Arun's arrival, LSG could part ways with Zaheer Khan, who was the team's mentor last season, and Justin Langer, who has been the head coach for the past couple of years.
Arun’s exit comes just a day after head coach Chandrakant Pandit stepped down from his role at KKR.
According to ESPNcricinfo, LSG are also set to rope in Carl Crowe as spin consultant.
Led by Rishabh Pant, LSG had a disappointing IPL 2025 season, finishing outside the playoff spots with just six wins in 14 games. Along with Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings, they remain one of the few franchises yet to win an IPL title.
