Follow UsThe Lucknow Super Giants' mega auction for the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was fruitful.
While the franchise didn’t continue with KL Rahul's services, it acquired Rishabh Pant at a whopping 27 crore price in the auction. Along with David Miller, Nicholas Pooran, and Aiden Markram, he forms a strong batting core for the LSG. While Pooran was retained, all the others were acquired in the auction.
LSG also retained Indian talents like Ravi Bishnoi, Ayush Badoni, Mohsin Khan and Mayank Yadav.
They also have the big-hitting Mitch Marsh and Abdul Samas, and promising all-rounders Shahbaz Ahmad, Yuvraj Chaudhary, and Arshin Kulkarni.
However, their Indian pace lineup, which includes Avesh Khan, Akash Deep, Mayank Yadav and Mohsin Khan, is really fiery with proven IPL performers in it.
The IPL 2025 will likely start on March 14 and end in May 2025. The tournament's schedule hasn’t yet been announced.
