Dhoni touched the 350-six mark in the 16th over of the first innings, smashing Riyan Parag for a maximum down the ground. That ended up being his only six in the match.
MSD scored 16 off 17 deliveries against RR, struggling to get going in the final overs. This season, Dhoni has scored 196 runs at an average of 24.5 and a strike rate of 135.2, studded with 12 sixes.
Dhoni has 264 sixes in the IPL, only behind Chris Gayle (357), Rohit (297) and Kohli (290).
Talking about the match, Ayush Mhatre (43 off 20) and Dewald Brevis (42 off 25) put RR under pressure, but CSK kept losing wickets at regular intervals, and could only manage 17 in the last three overs.
