Follow UsBangladesh have left out senior batter Mushfiqur Rahim along with openers Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar and pacer Rubel Hossain from their 16-player squad for the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan.
Mohammad Saifuddin and Shakib al Hasan are both unavailable due to injuries which freed up six places in the squad which has been retained from the T20 World Cup. Batters Najmul Hossain, Saif Hassan and Yasir Ali Chowdhury alongside legspinner Aminul Islam, pacer Shohidul Islam and wicketkeeper Akbar Ali have filled in those places.
Pakistan are set to play three T20Is and two Tests on their tour starting with the first T20I at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on November 19. The venue will also host the second match on November 20 and the third match on November 22.
