Nitish Kumar Reddy has recovered from his groin injury and is part of India B’s playing XI against India A in the first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024. The fast-bowling all-rounder has been out of action since the end of IPL 2024.
India A captain Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium on September 5 (Thursday). They have left out Tilak Varma, Vidwath Kaverappa, Kumar Kushagra and Shaswat Rawat from the playing XI.
Dhruv Jurel is keeping wickets for India A, while KL Rahul is playing as a specialist batter.

Meanwhile, the Abhimanyu Easwaran-led India B have four seamers, including Nitish, in their XI. In Sai Kishore, Washington Sundar and Musheer Khan, India B also have three spin-bowling all-rounders.
In Anantapur, India C captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and also decided to field first against India D. Sanju Samson, who was brought in as Ishan Kishan's replacement in the India D set-up, is not part of the playing XI.
