Pakistan to host West Indies for three ODIs in June
All the matches will be played at Rawalpindi on June 8, 10 and12
Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday announced the schedule for the three-match ODI series against West Indies which will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on June 8, 10 and 12.
The three-match ODI series, which was originally scheduled to be played in December, had to be postponed due to multiple covid-19 cases within the West Indies camp on arrival. However, they were able to complete their commitment for the three T20Is.
The ODI series will be part of the ICC Men's World Cup Super League where the top eight teams will gain an automatic qualification for the 2023 ODI World Cup in India. Windies are eighth in the standings with five wins and 10 losses from 15 matches while Pakistan are languishing in 10th with four wins and five losses from nine games.
