South Africa are set to host Sri Lanka and Pakistan later this year, the national cricket board announced on April 3 (Friday).
Pakistan will play three T20Is, as many ODIs and two Tests in South Africa in December and January. Durban, Centurion, and Johannesburg will host the T20Is from December 10-14.
The ODIs will be played from December 17-22 in Paarl, Cape Town and Johannesburg respectively, while the two ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 matches will be held at Centurion (December 26-30) and Cape Town (January 3-7).
Before hosting Pakistan, South Africa will be involved in a two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. The two games, which will also be part of the WTC cycle, will be played in Durban (November 27-December 1) and Gqeberha (December 5-9).
That's not it; South Africa's women's side will also be involved in a multi-format series against England. They will play three T20Is, three ODIs and a one-off Test match.
South Africa will be hosting a women's Test for the first time in 22 years and it will be played in Bloemfontein.
"As we open our doors to esteemed cricketing nations like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and England, we not only showcase the talent and competitiveness of South African cricket but also celebrate the global appeal and camaraderie inherent in our beloved sport," said CSA chief Pholetsi Moseki.
"These fixtures serve as a platform to not just compete, but to foster bonds between nations, uniting players and fans alike in the shared love for cricket."
