Bad news for India as express pacer Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the remainder of India A’s clash against Australia A in Lucknow, on September 24 (Wednesday). The 29-year-old didn’t have the best of outings against Australia A, conceding 76 runs in his 17 overs, picking up just the one wicket.
When he came out to bat, the Indian side was in all kinds of trouble, at 127/7. However, the Karnataka man put on a stubborn 37-run partnership alongside Sai Sudharsan. The right-hander was in smashing mode, as he scored 16 off 25 balls, including smashing a six against Australia A’s best bowler, Henry Thornton.
However, it was during his knock that the 29-year-old was smashed on his head. Three overs after he was smashed on his head, the pacer walked off the field concussed, ruling him out of the remainder of the ongoing clash.
Pacer Yash Thakur replaced Prasidh as a concussion substitute for the rest of the contest.
