Problems kept piling up for Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their clash against the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 12 (Saturday) in Hyderabad. After their bowlers were getting hit all over the park by the dangerous duo of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, one of their prime bowlers, Lockie Ferguson, walked off the field after bowling just two balls.
Ferguson came in to bowl in the fifth over of the SRH innings, and after bowling just two balls, he pulled his hamstring. After trying to regain his momentum by jogging in his run-up, the Kiwi pacer gave up and walked off the field.
It is not clear whether Ferguson and Punjab Kings' problem is serious, as the New Zealand bowler is one of the most injury-prone bowlers in the world. Marcus Stoinis eventually completed the over, and he conceded 10 runs in the last four overs.
