Despite Operation Sindoor being undertaken by the Indian Army and most of the airports in the North and Northwestern Indian cities shutting operations on the government’s demand, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will continue its journey.
Not only that, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025, in the neighbouring country, will also continue as it is.
Although no player has officially requested to be sent back home in either of the two leagues, several players in the PSL feel their security is threatened.
"We will abide by the Indian government advisory," Arun Dhumal, IPL Chairman was quoted as saying to ESPNcricinfo.
On the other hand, in the PSL, the matches are being held in just three cities, yet certain English players have given vague reactions, with some wanting to move back to their own country.
