Cheteshwar Pujara continued his tremendous form in the Royal London Cup 50-over tournament with his third hundred of the season for Sussex on Tuesday.
Pujara, who scored 107 against Warwickshire followed by his highest List-A score of 174 against Surrey, reached his century against Middlesex in just 75 balls.
The 34-year old took his score to 132 off 90 balls (20x4, 2x6) before being dismissed. Pujara's scintillating knock added to opener Tom Alsop's unbeaten 189 off 155 balls (19x4, 5x6) as Sussex posted a mammoth 400/4 in 50 overs.
Earlier, Pujara scored two double centuries for Sussex in the County Championship which enabled his comeback into the Indian Test side for the one-off Test against England in July.
Pujara is currently captaining Sussex who are top of Royal London Cup table with five wins from seven matches.
