Quite surprising that only Saha got it and none of us who were close contacts to him - Goswami

Wriddhiman Saha tested positive for Covid-19 but none of other SRH members contracted the virus

Following Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier tested positive for Covid-19, the RCB-KKR clash was postponed but things went south after that, with multiple players testing positive within the bubble. The BCCI was swift to postpone the tournament but came under immense criticism for their efforts. Shreevats Goswami, however, felt that the board managed it perfectly from the beginning.

"When we were playing domestic cricket, COVID wasn't a great issue as it was low at that time. BCCI did a good job in completing the domestic season. In my opinion, everything was fine when the competition was in Mumbai and Chennai. Everything started going in different directions when traveled," Goswami told Cricket.com.

Wriddhiman Saha tested positive for Covid-19 but none of other SRH members contracted the virus. The wicket-keeper batsman stated that it was quite surprising how come other players didn't get the infection despite coming in close contact with the Bengal keeper.

"It is quite surprising that how only Saha got it and none of us who were close contacts to him. We can assume things but can't confirm. If we look at the foreign players, some of them had a long and busy schedule. Which also means, a lot of their time goes in quarantine, which is never a good thing to sit a room for 7-14 days."
