Rahul Dravid Reveals Biggest Differentiator Between RR And Other IPL Franchises

Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid described the biggest differentiator between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and other teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He said that the Royals are not only about building players into good cricketers but also better people on and off the field. 

Their investment in youth, as evidenced by their retention policy, has made them leaders in promoting youth in the league, and it has become their philosophy. 

“Since the early years, we have always tried to identify and develop — not necessarily just young talent — but those who are probably not as recognised,” Rahul Dravid was quoted as saying by Sportstar. 

Giving an example of how this policy of investment in youth is carried out, Dravid said, “I wouldn’t call Pravin Tambe young, right? He was someone who got into the franchise. ‘Young’ is, of course, just one operative word, but it’s about identifying talent that has probably not been seen by many.”

“A large part of the franchise’s mission is not only to develop talent on the cricket field but also beyond it,” added the former India coach.
