Rashid Khan Breaks Most 6s Record In IPL 2025, But With The Ball

Amongst bowlers who have bowled at least 20 overs in the IPL 2025, Rashid Khan has the third-worst average

Gujarat Titans (GT)’s legspinner Rashid Khan is having a terrible Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The 26-year-old has conceded 17 sixes - the most by any bowler in the IPL 2025.

Against Delhi Capitals (DC) in Ahmedabad on April 19 (Saturday), Rashid went for 38 runs in his four overs and was hit for three maximums.

In IPL 2025, Rashid has claimed only four wickets at an average of 63.3 and an economy rate of 9.7.

He has completed his full quota of overs in six games and has only once leaked runs at an economy of less than 8.8. This has clearly been Rashid’s worst IPL season.

Amongst bowlers who have delivered at least 20 overs in the IPL 2025, Rashid has the third-worst average after RCB’s Suyash Sharma (100) and MI’s Mitchell Santner (67.7).

This has also been Rashid’s second-worst T20 competition in terms of average after the 2019 Shpageeza Cricket League.
