NEWSThe BCCI is set to pick Vikram Rathour as Indian senior's men's team batting coach along with Paras Mhambrey as the bowling coach and T Dilip as the fielding coach, according to a report by Cricbuzz.
According to the report, the trio have been interviewed on Thursday and have been recommended by new head coach Rahul Dravid due to their association with Indian cricket over the past few years. Dilip, who hails from Hyderabad, has worked as the fielding coach during India's limited-overs tour of Sri Lanka where Dravid was the head coach.
Former Mumbai pacer Mhambrey has previously worked with Dravid as the bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy, India U19 and India A teams while Rathore will return as the batting coach after replacing Sanjay Bangar after the 2019 World Cup.
They will report to the India camp in Jaipur ahead of the first T20I against New Zealand on November 17. India will play the second T20I at November 19 at Ranchi while the third match will be played on November 21 at Kolkata.
