Indian players Sabbhineni Meghana and Richa Ghosh made huge gains while Deepti Sharma moved up by two spots to 18th in the latest ICC women's ODI batting rankings on Tuesday.
Deepti claimed 4-52 in the second ODI and scored 69 in the third match in the ongoing series against New Zealand which propelled her to fourth among allrounders and No. 13 among bowlers.
With regular opener Smriti Mandhana absent for the first three ODIs due to extended quarantine period, Sabbhineni Meghana scored 49 and 61 which saw her leapfrog 113 places to 67th while Richa Ghosh's 64-ball 65 saw her move by 15 places to No. 54.
Indian skipper Mithali Raj, with her two fifties against the White Ferns, kept her No. 2 place while Mandhana remained static on No. 8. Among bowlers, Jhulan Goswami held on to her fourth spot and is the only Indian in the top-10.
Amelia Kerr, who set up New Zealand's win in the second ODI with an unbeaten 119, moved up 21 places to No. 22 among batters and No. 6 among allrounders.
