Indiaโs wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has joined the list of cricketers who have come forward to support the country's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pant took to Twitter to announce his support to the Hemkunt Foundation through a monetary donation to help and provide various necessities during the second wave of the pandemic - oxygen cylinders, beds and Covid-relief kits.ย

Pant stated that he has been deeply affected by what has been going on in the country. โAs someone who has seen personal loss up close, my heart goes out to all the families who have suffered over the past year and I pray for the souls of those who have left us.โ, said Pant in an emotional note in his tweet.ย
Pant also urged others to help in whatever way possible and spread awareness about Covid relief and vaccination programs.
Several other cricketers, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Pat Cummins are some other cricketers who have taken such a step to aid the country previously.ย
