Rohit Sharma returned back to form in his favourite format - ODIs, smashing his 32nd century in the 50-over game. It was also the second-fastest hundred personally for Rohit, coming in just 76 balls.
The feat was achieved during the second ODI of the three-match series at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. Rohit’s fastest ODI century came in 63 balls against Afghanistan during the ODI World Cup 2023 at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi.
Rohit, whose struggle started with the home Tests against New Zealand in 2024 and continued through to the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 and the Ranji Trophy, finally ended in Cuttack. This is a good sign for Rohit ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
