SA20 2025: 3 Royal Challengers Bengaluru players who can light up the tournament

Here are three players, bought by Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2025 auction, who can light up the SA20 2025

The SA20 2025 will have a lot of players who will be part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) later on during their 2025 season. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), one of the most popular IPL teams, will also have some of its players participating in SA20 this season. Here are the top three RCB players who will set the SA 20 alight with their talent.

Liam Livingstone

Liam Livingstone is one of the most talented and destructive players going around the world in the shortest format. However, he has not been great when it comes to SA20, scoring just over 100 runs in 10 games and taking only three wickets.

Bought by RCB for INR 8.75 Cr, he would now be looking to turn things around when he takes the field for Pretoria Capitals in SA20 2025. However, he will be available for only limited matches due to England’s tour of India, which will involve T20s and will be played in late January.

Nuwan Thushara

Sri Lankan Nuwan Thushara is one of the up-and-coming T20 talents. He has already impressed people in international T20s and also in the IPL with Mumbai Indians. Having already played five matches in the SA20 last season, picking up eight wickets, the right-arm pacer would be raring to go once again for the MI Cape Town franchise.

Thushara has already taken 151 wickets in his 111 matches at an impressive average of 19.06 and strike rate of 14.2. Bought at INR 1.6 Cr by RCB, the 30-year-old will look to utilise all his experience during this tournament.

Lungi Ngidi

Lungi Ngidi, South Africa’s premium fast bowler, will be available for selection after having managed himself through injuries. He bowls a heavy ball and has been impressive so far in the shortest format, picking 177 wickets in 134 matches at an average of 20 and strike rate of 14.7.

Lungi Ngidi

Ngidi, 28, was bought by RCB for INR 1 Cr at the IPL 2025 auction. The Natal-born already has an experience of playing 19 matches for Paarl Royals in SA20 and picking 24 wickets in it. However, he would want to improve upon those numbers when he would take the field for Paarl for the third season.
