Shakib Al Hasan, Litton Das left out of Bangladesh's Champions Trophy 2025 squad

Bangladesh will get their campaign underway against India on February 20 against India

Bangladesh made a big call by leaving Litton Das out of their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 squad. It is understood that the selectors were concerned with Litton's lack of form. He managed to score just six runs in the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against West Indies. There is also no place for all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan after he failed to clear the bowling test

The veteran cricketer was reported for a suspect bowling action and has been banned from bowling in international cricket. In Litton's absence, Jaker Ali is expected to don the wicketkeeping gloves.

Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mushfiqur Rahim, Towhid Hridoy and Mustafizur Rahman return to the squad after missing the 3-0 ODI series defeat at the hands of West Indies last month.

Najmul will lead the side after missing the West Indies tour due to a groin injury. Hridoy and Mushfiqur, too, are believed to have recovered from their respective injuries just in time for the tournament.

Bangladesh begin their Champions Trophy campaign against India on February 20 in Dubai.
