Wondering how CSK’s season is going? Well, look no further than their all-rounder Shivam Dube, who signalled a six when the ball had bounced well before the boundary rope in their clash against Punjab Kings, on April 30 (Wednesday).
Fielding in the backward square leg region, the all-rounder could not get to the ball as he watched it bounce right in front of his eyes for a four. That left the bowler Ravindra Jadeja extremely angry as the CSK all-rounder mumbled a few words in almost disappointment.
While the umpire was confused whether the ball had crossed the boundary line or not, the Mumbaikar declared it a six, which left Jadeja further cross. As it turned out, the replays confirmed that the ball hadn’t hit the boundary rope, and it just bounced before the ropes.
CSK’s skipper MS Dhoni too was equally left unimpressed, as he signalled towards the all-rounder to move inside the circle. Much to Dhoni’s astonishment, in the very same over, a ball went straight into the hands of Dube, who let the batters take an easy single.
