Shoaib Bashir finally gets his visa to India

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) informed through their social media channels that off-spinner Shoaib Bashir has now received his Visa, and will be travelling soon to join India by this weekend. 

The ECB also said, “We’re glad the situation has now been resolved.” 

Bashir’s visa to India was delayed earlier, making a large section of the English media question the pattern of delayed Pakistani-origin cricketers' visas. Usman Khawaja’s visa to India was also delayed earlier. Bashir had to travel back home to sort his visa issues. 

Both the skippers - Ben Stokes and Rohit Sharma - were questioned about the visa issue in their press conferences and expressed their sympathies with Bashir.
