Shivam Mavi’s night was as perfect as it could get, as the all-rounder smashed a 21-ball 54 and picked up figures of 3/24 against Gaur Gorakhpur Lions on August 18 (Monday) in Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025.
The former KKR star first rescued his side, Kashi Rudras, with a stroke-filled batting display. Walking in at 89/7, the Rudras were in all kinds of trouble, but that’s where the youngster rescued his side. The 26-year-old built up a solid 87-run partnership with Shiva Singh, where he alone hit a 21-ball 54, smashing six sixes.
His knock ultimately helped the Rudras get to 176/8 at the end of their innings. He wasn’t done yet, as he returned with the ball to pick up the most important batter, Akshdeep Nath, dismissing him for a 32-ball 34.
The 26-year-old then finished the innings with two more wickets, removing wicketkeeper Hardeep Singh and Shivam Sharma, to finish with figures of 3/24, helping the Rudras win by a huge margin of 50 runs.
