India Women opener Smriti Mandhana has risen to third in the latest ICC T20 International (T20I) rankings and has attained her career-best ranking points, which currently stand at 771. She achieved this following her maiden century in the format against England at Trent Bridge on June 28 (Saturday).
Beth Mooney continues to lead the T20I batting rankings and is currently just 24 points ahead of Mandhana.
Among the bowlers, England pacer Lauren Bell moved up two spots to fourth in the T20I rankings - her career-best slot - following her three wickets in the first T20I against India, which her side lost by a massive 97-run margin.
England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt top-scored in the first T20I with 66 off 42. Like Mandhana, she too attained her career-best ranking points with 663 points and retained the ninth position among batters.
India and England clash in the second T20I in Bristol on July 1 (Tuesday).
