South Africa Set To Tour Pakistan Ahead of 2025 Women’s World Cup
The Proteas women’s side will play a three-match ODI series in August
Pakistan Women will host South Africa in a three-match ODI series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, starting August 16 (Saturday). After that series, they will then travel to Sri Lanka for a three-match ODI series, which will act as preparation for the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup.
Due to the political tension between India and Pakistan, they will be playing all their games in Sri Lanka, including knockout matches. Apart from that, in 2025, they will also be playing a three-match T20I series against Ireland in Dublin in early August.
However, before the 2026 T20 World Cup, the Asian side will tour South Africa, where they will play three ODIs and T20Is in February-March. In April, they will take on Zimbabwe in a similar arrangement.
Just before the 2026 global event, they will tour Ireland for a triangular series also involving the West Indies in May-June.
