Sravanthi Naidu's mother passes away due to COVID-19

Former Indian batter Sravanthi Naidu's mother has passed away due to COVID-19 on Saturday afternoon

Former India batter Sravanthi Naidu's mother SK Suman passed away on Saturday in Hyderabad weeks after battling COVID-19. 

N. Vidya Yadav, former BCCI women's cricket convenor (South Zone), told Sportstar that she was discharged earlier in the morning from Sunshine Hospitals, where Suman was undergoing her treatment. A hospital bill of Rs 5.28 lakhs was waived off following the initiative taken by Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of Information Technology, Government of Telangana, Former Andhra Ranji captain V. Chamundeswaranath and Dr. Gurava Reddy, chairman and managing director of Sunshine Hospitals.

On Wednesday, Indian captain Virat Kohli, donated Rs 6.77 lakhs towards treatment and Hyderabad Cricket Association also provided financial assistance of Rs 5 lakhs for the same.
