SRH rope in Netherlands head coach Ryan Cook as their fielding coach

Sunrisers Hyderabad have roped in Netherlands head coach Ryan Cook as their fielding coach for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, starting March 31. 

Cook has already joined the SRH set-up and will miss the international tours of Zimbabwe and South Africa, with Ryan van Niekerk replacing him on an interim basis.

Cook was also the fielding coach of Sunrisers Eastern Cape, who won the inaugural edition of the SA20. He replaces Hemang Badani in the role. 

The former Indian all-rounder is now the batting coach of SRH, taking over the position from former West Indies batter Brian Lara, who was appointed as their head coach.

Dale Steyn (fast-bowling coach), Muthiah Muralidaran (spin-bowling coach) and Simon Helmot (assistant coach) will be playing the same roles they did last season.

SRH will commence their IPL 2023 campaign against Rajasthan Royals on April 2.
