Sri Lanka are set to play a three-match Test series against England, starting August 21 (Wednesday). The first Test will be played at Old Trafford, Manchester. The action will then shift to England's capital, London, where the second Test will be played at Lord's (August 29), followed by the final Test at The Oval (September 6).
All the three Tests will be part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 203-25 cycle. It will be an uphill task for Sri Lanka, given that they have won just three out of 18 Tests in England, with the last one coming in Leeds in 2014.
England will be without Ben Stokes for the series due to a hamstring injury, and Ollie Pope will take charge for the first time. The match will begin at 3.30 PM IST, and the toss on Day 1 will take place half an hour before the first ball.
