The last time they made it to the playoffs was in the 2021 edition, where they ended up becoming champions.
Coming into the 2025 edition, they made a massive signing in former West Indies Captain Jason Holder, who recently surpassed Dwayne Bravo to become the highest wicket taker for West Indies in T20Is.
They have made notable new overseas signings in Fazalhaq Farooqi, Naseem Shah and Waqar Salamkheil. With the experience of Holder, Lewis, Fletcher and captain Kyle Mayers, the Patriots are expected to perform better than what they have done in the past few seasons.

Ashmead Nedd has been rising up the ranks in West Indies domestic in the last 12 months. The 24-year-old left arm spinner bowled an excellent spell of 4/25 against Guyana Amazon Warriors in the previous season, showing that he has the potential to deliver in the big stage.
