The pacer was seen limping off during Australia's training on Tuesday

Australia's pacer Mitchell Starc is doubtful for the upcoming T20 World Cup clash against Sri Lanka after he was seen limping off with an injured leg in the training held at the ICC Academy in Dubai on Tuesday night, according to a report by Associated Press.

The left-armer played in their opening clash against South Africa and picked up 2-32 in four overs, a game which Australia won by five wickets. Starc was away from competitive cricket for nearly six months break and last trained with Australia's women's team during the multi-format series against India.

Australia is set to play their second Super 12s match against Sri Lanka on Thursday.
