Already the title sponsor of the Indian Premier League, Tata Group has now also bagged the title rights for the inaugural Women's Premier League.
Jay Shah, the BCCI secretary, made the announcement via Twitter on Tuesday (February 21). According to a report on PTI, Tata Group has secured the rights for five years.

Gujarat Giants will take on Mumbai Indians in the first game of the inaugural edition of WPL at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on March 4.
Meanwhile, the final will be played at the Brabourne Stadium on March 26. All games will be played in Mumbai across these two venues.
Earlier, Viacom 18 won the media rights for the women's IPL for a period of five years (2023-2027), having already bagged the digital rights for the forthcoming Men's IPL cycle.
Viacom, for the Women's IPL, committed INR 951 crore, which translates roughly to INR 7.09 crore per game.
